I’m back from my cycling trip (well since a week). It was great to travel around Switzerland, but also quite hard.
I had about 5kg of luggage with me. I did the whole trip in 6 days, with a total of 830km and over 7000m altitude difference.
Check out my trip on the map.
Day 1: Zurich - Pragelpass - Meggen
- 170km
- Pragelpass is closed for cars on weekends!
- Fixed my broken chain in Brunnen
Day 2: Meggen - Därligen
- 160km
- Trip with Röbi
- Glaubenbielenpass, Schallenberg
- mostly on Route 4
Day 3: Därligen - Bulle
- 120km
- followed national cycle route 4
Day 4: Bulle - Yvonand
- 140km
- followed national cycle route 4, except Col des Mosses
- Col des Mosses very nice if not on a weekend
- Best part. Awesome (uphill as downhill)!!!
Day 5: Yvonand - Lohn-Ammannsegg
- 100km
- followed mostly national cycle route 5
Day 6: Lohn-Ammannsegg - Zürich
- 140km
- followed mostly regional route 84
I might do something similar in autumn more in the south…
