It’s already a week ago and I had no time to write about it. It was great again (besides some small details), we had one, two amazing teams with great people!
I was the cyclist of the Team “Recycling”.
If you are interested in the tracks:

Friday 16km, 300Hm Short track, not very hard nor difficult
Saturday 90km, 2180Hm Longest track, 2 hills, partially very steep, long downhill on small road (!), nice scenery
Sunday 67km, 1440Hm up and down, up and down, up and down. Very nice roads

Things I should consider for the next time:

  • There are no toilets on the parking lots
  • There are no (or view) provision possibility on start and end
  • The foodstop on the track is very bad (if you don’t like sponser stuff)
  • Take a seat or mattress if you have to wait for a longer time in the transition area
  • Time schedule of the team for every member in very small format
  • The one who arrives, calls the upper next member, to inform about actual time
  • Take a small flag on the transition area to simplify search
  • Eventually make use of Google Latitude

I did not take one picture. But there are some photos available here, here, here and here.

[ Update: Wir haben Ersatz gefunden... ]

As I’m still a little weak from my last weeks sickness I chose to bike a shorter trail. I was inspired by gps-tracks.com as it does not go too high (there is still a lot of snow up there).

I parked my car at the railway station of Fehraltdorf.

The track has nothing very surprising. View singletrails; you are biking mostly on forest tracks. With the nice weather it was still great to be outside!

Great diversified trip with Röbi around Alpnach and parts on the Jakobsweg. Several singletrails, especially the last one quite technical, stil some snow passages and grades until 27%!

I did take some water from a fountain, which was probably contaminated by the farmers manuring nearby. I didn’t really sleep last night. Next time I should take more care about cleanness on the fountains. So far I thought, it was no problem in Switzerland…

Today I took an afterwork trail which was not too long. The beginning was a little boring, but then the trail followed a stream (Tobel). Great stuff, but not very technical.
I would not recommend to cycle that path on a warm weekend as there will probably be a lot of hikers on the path.

There’s a bikepark nearby, but I’ll check that one later.

First evening trip on Monday after the change to summertime. It’s still getting dark too early. The trip was ok, there was again a cold wind (Bise) blowing around my ears. There are some short and very steep segments (up to 16% grade).

I was running along an official running track today. It’s a track from the Lauftreff, where you can follow the white signposts. If interested you can walk a short trip to the “tiger view” at the end. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to see the tiger on the rock from the zoo.

There’s a public changing room nearby, just check the map.

More or less a home training tour. There’s diversity all over: nice sceneries, single trails, forest tracks, paved roads, steep pathes, jumps and stairs. One part on top of the mountain is quite exposed and not recommended for people who have no head for heights.

There was some cold wind around (Bise). As the temperatures were already quite low, about 2°C the whole trip was not exactly as in summer.
But the selected pathes were great. Nice small roads without any traffic.

The highlight was as expected in Regensberg with the amazing view an its castle.

Inspired by the original trail we gave the surroundings in Baden and Habsburg a try. The trail was very easy, always forest tracks or paved roads. There was no single trail and too much tarmac after my fancy.

But some nice views at the end of the first hill and at the castle in Habsburg rewarded the outgoing.
